Job Description
Work Performed:
Includes the following and other duties as assigned.
1. Intake, sorting, and laundering of soiled linen.
2. Feeding, folding, counting and tying of clean linen.
3. Loading carts and filling orders with clean linen.
Equipment:
Conveyors, push carts, feeders, ironers, folding and tying machines and linen cages.
Relation to Other Jobs:
An employee may be assigned to a specific position for a period of time but must be able to work in any position when necessary.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily to include but not limited to:

Education:
Prefer vocational or high school graduate.
Experience:
Prefer any industrial laundry or production experience.
Special Requirements:
The ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds on a continuous basis; repetitively grasp, pull, push, bend, stretch and stoop; maintain the production standards; stand/walk 100% of the scheduled workday; handle potentially infectious materials; safely operate necessary equipment and work overtime, weekends and some holidays.
Working Conditions:
Temperatures subject to outside conditions, some tasks may be very dirty and require Personal Protective Equipment.
Work Schedule
This position is scheduled shifts from operational hours of 5am-11pm
All other duties may be assigned by management.
