Delivery Driver

Overview:

This position is responsible for the safe delivery, unloading and storage of goods to/at hospitals and healthcare facilities. Good driving and customer service skills are essential to this position. Required to maintain safety DOT compliant requirements, perform pre-trip checks, and maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle. Must keep accurate daily delivery records and maintain shipping documents. Loading and securing bins of linen in delivery vehicle, delivering and unloading clean linen bins, reloading and returning soiled linen collection bins to industrial plant. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required by the demands of the business. Must possess flexibility (tasks change daily) and will be assigned by management. Will be provided a company uniform to maintain a neat professional appearance.

Job Description

Qualifications:

  1. Must be insurable-possess valid current driver's license.

  2. Acceptable Current DMV Transcript

  3. DOT Physical will be required.

  4. Must be able to maneuver a 24–28-foot Box Truck

  5. Must be able to push/pull linen bins weighing up to 700 lbs.

  6. Work Independently

  7. Good Organizational Skills

  8. Must be able to interact professionally with co-workers and hospital personnel.

 

Work Schedule:

  1. This position has a varied schedule of Sunday - Saturday
