Janitor
Overview
This position is responsible for general cleaning of the building as well as maintaining a hygienically clean work environment in areas where there is direct contact with clean textiles. Other tasks include cleaning restrooms, break rooms, plant 'blow-down' and fire prevention measures.
Description
Essential Functions:
Associates must be able to follow instructions and to interact appropriately with coworkers, management, vendors, and guests.
1. Associate must be able to stand/walk 100% of the scheduled workday
2. Associate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
3. Associate must be willing to handle potentially infectious materials and to work in unfavorable conditions such as hot and cold temperatures.
4. Associates must be able to work overtime, and weekends as required by the business.
Additional Functions:
1. Complete all tasks assigned to each area of the plant as outlined on the daily cleaning schedules.
2. Keeps plants, restrooms, lunchroom and offices clean.
3. Collects and empties trash.
4. Blows lint from ceilings, overhanging pipes, etc., walls and equipment: sweeps floors.
5. Refills hand soap and paper towel dispensers.
All other duties may be assigned by management.
Delivery Driver
Overview
This position is responsible for the safe delivery, unloading and storage of goods to/at hospitals and healthcare facilities. Good driving and customer service skills are essential to this position. Required to maintain safety DOT compliant requirements, perform pre-trip checks, and maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle. Must keep accurate daily delivery records and maintain shipping documents. Loading and securing bins of linen in delivery vehicle, delivering and unloading clean linen bins, reloading and returning soiled linen collection bins to industrial plant. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required by the demands of the business. Must possess flexibility (tasks change daily) and will be assigned by management. Will be provided a company uniform to maintain a neat professional appearance.
Description
Qualifications:
Must be insurable-possess valid current driver's license.
Acceptable Current DMV Transcript
DOT Physical will be required.
Must be able to maneuver a 24–28-foot Box Truck
Must be able to push/pull linen bins weighing up to 700 lbs.
Work Independently
Good Organizational Skills
Must be able to interact professionally with co-workers and hospital personnel.
Work Schedule:
This position has a varied schedule of Sunday - Saturday
All other duties may be assigned by management.
Hospital Linen Attendant
Overview
This position is responsible for conducting linen inventories and restocking linen supplies to recommended par levels. Attendants assist hospital personnel with refreshing the linen carts and closets and are responsible for collecting soiled linens for transportation back to the laundry.

Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds on a continuous basis.
Must be able to push/pull linen bins weighing up to 700 lbs.
Must be able to repetitively grasp, push, pull, bend, stretch, and stoop.
Must be able to stand/walk 100% of the scheduled work day.
Must be able to follow instructions and to interact appropriately with coworkers, hospital personnel, patients, visitors, and management.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to count accurately and do simple math.
Must be very dependable and punctual.
Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends, and overtime where necessary by the demands of the business.
Plant Production Laundry Operator
Overview
This position requites retrieving carts of hygienically processed linen, hand folding of linen, accurate counting and stacking of folded linen, hand tying or machine tying stacks of linen to prepare for storage prior to shipping.

Minimum Requirements
Associates must be able to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds.
Associates must be able to repetitively push, pull, bend, stretch, and stoop.
Associate must be able to maintain production standards as set forth by SHS.
Associates must be able to stand or walk 100% of their scheduled workday.
Associates must be able to interact appropriately with coworkers, management, vendors and guests.
Associates must be able to count to SO and sort linen into specific quantities.
Associate must be willing to work in unfavorable conditions including hot and cold temperatures.
Associate must demonstrate the ability to safely operate necessary equipment.
Primary Job Duties
Performing all necessary start up and shut down procedures to keep the equipment operating efficiently and safely.
Bringing clean linen to and from their station using rolling baskets and overhead rail systems.
Manually/ mechanically folding various types of linen.
Sorting classified linen into appropriate quantities to ensure proper customer satisfaction.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or General Manager.
Maintenance Technician
Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment, as well as facility maintenance. Tasks include startup and shut down procedures, electrical troubleshooting, boiling work, welding and cutting, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, or other systems. Reports to Chief Engineer.
Description
Essential Functions:
Install, repair, and maintain large industrial processing equipment. Provide preventative and corrective maintenance for this equipment and for the facility in general.
Repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, PC, air, power.
Perform plumbing, 3 phase electrical equipment, carpentry, boiler repair, welding, and general facility repairs.
Answer and resolve daily maintenance requests in a timely fashion, so that minimal down time is experienced, and operational processes are continually improved.
Work with all plant personnel in a cooperative and professional manner.
Strictly adhere to all safety rules, policies and procedures required by Shared Hospital Services.
Remain current on equipment and repair procedures. Properly use power and hand tools.
Keep accurate and timely records of maintenance performed.
Follow written and verbal instructions and perform other tasks as directed by supervision.
Additional Functions:
Drive and pick up parts, transport parts, etc.
May work with and support other plant personnel as required by supervision.
Qualifications:
Have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Minimum of two years maintenance engineering experience with specific knowledge of machinery, electricity, strong in electronic trouble shooting, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welder, and boiler applications.
Proficiency in the proper use of power and hand tools.
Strong electrical troubleshooting ability of 3 phase systems.
PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
Excellent attendance record.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to comprehend and follow direction, perform basic math, good time management skills and be a team player.
Strong in the use of machinery schematics and drawings.
